Beer Is Good For Health
Drinking up to two glasses of beer a day is good for health as it reduces the risk of diabetes and high blood pressure and helps with weight loss, according to a study conducted in Spain with 1249 men and women over the age of 57 years.
Beer components such as folic acid, vitamins, iron and calcium provides protection of the cardiovascular system, and is pointed out that the sole culprit of ‘brewers’ belly are fatty foods, lack of exercise and too much alcohol.
The beer provides the same health benefits that are already attributed to moderate consumption of wine, and has a relatively low alcohol content compared with other drinks.
Women should drink two small glasses of beer a day, and men a glass anymore, but of course in combination with a healthy diet and exercise – experts say.
